Mary Ellen Lorello, The Balanced Gourmet 

I have been cooking for fun since the age of four and professionally as The Balanced Gourmet for three years. I am enthusiastic about opportunities to help create healing in the body through simple (and delicious!) changes in diet. I am passionate about supporting organic, local, and sustainable farms. Specialties include Italian family recipes passed down through generations, as well as most other international flavors.

In 2009 I completed a six month training program for Consultative Wellness Coaching with Common Boundaries, and I currently offer coaching at reduced rates while I complete the coaching hours necessary for certification. Coaching can be a great tool for self-discovery and a strong motivational energy in helping set and achieve your goals. 

My love and appreciation for Pilates was the motivation for the fitness aspect of The Balanced Gourmet. I have been practicing and studying  pilates personally for five years, and completed training to teach mat classes at all levels  in early 2010. Learn a workout routine that you can take with you anywhere with no equipment necessary, except for your own body!

Early this year I experienced such amazing changes in my own body when I began a regimen of supplements, that I decided to share these products with my friends and fans.
